The National Service Scheme (NSS) in Ghana has recently announced the release of the first batch of Personal Identification Numbers (PIN codes) for 13,353 eligible Ghanaian trained teachers. This move is aimed at facilitating their enrollment for the mandatory one-year national service in the upcoming 2024 service year.
Enrollment Process and Requirements
To begin the enrollment process, eligible trained teachers are required to visit the NSS website at www.nss.gov.gh. It is essential to note that a registration fee of GH¢40.00 must be paid at any branch of the Agricultural Development Bank (ADB) to gain access to the main enrollment platform and complete the process. Alternatively, payment can be made through MTN MoMo at a fee of GH¢41.00.
The enrollment period is scheduled to commence on Wednesday, 14th February, 2024, and will run until Wednesday, 28th February, 2024. During this timeframe, all eligible trained teachers are urged to ensure they personally complete their online enrollment within the stipulated period.
